Question about directv in our rv

We are finally getting satellite tv in our motorhome. After much debate we went with the tracstar sv360D. My question is, how much does directv charge per month if I tell them to activate a new receiver dedicated just to the rv? I currently have directv @ home, but would like to get local channels out of state while on the road, i.e. east coast or west coast feeds. Thank you for your help.

Heading to Yellowstone for the first time

Do we need to make reservations, or can we book a place to camp when we get there? We are leaving in mid July, about 2 weeks from now. I was thinking it may not be as busy this year with fuel prices so high. If we do need reservations maybe we could get some info on nice rv parks from you, our fellow rv'ers.

RE: Caterpillar 8D Batteries

Does This mean its an AGM?
"Cat® deep cycle batteries have heavier and thicker plates with an optimum acid paste combination. We utilize high resistance glass mat separators that are double insulated for longer deep cycle life. You can rely on our deep cycle batteries to deliver a long, slower discharge of fewer amps for several minutes or hours…the batteries power comes from deep inside the plates."

RE: Caterpillar 8D Batteries

I doubt Cat makes their own batteries. You can almost be sure they are regular flooded units. I dont remember any Cat tracked vehicles with AGM batteries being they are only used for starting. Have you priced 8D AGM? very pricey
Actually the price seems good for a Premium High Output battery. I was quoted 290.58 Per Battery. Here is some more info: Cat Premium High Output (PHO) batteries are standard equipment in all Caterpillar Machines and Engine Gen-Sets. They are designed to meet stringent Caterpillar design specifications for vibration (5-times the Industry Standard), deep discharge, re-charge, SAE J2185 life cycle, container strength, extreme temperature, high cold cranking amp (CCA) and amp-hour capabilities.
PHO batteries are available worldwide in popular Battery Council International (BCI) group sizes for both Cat and non-Cat equipment. They include both Maintenance Free and low maintenance designs -- available in wet and dry configurations. Selected BCI group size batteries are offered for automotive, marine, recreational, on-highway truck and bus applications.
Our line of PHO batteries are clearly differentiated and provide the user with lower owning and operating costs versus competitive offerings. Generally they should provide the user with trouble free service for a minimum of 36 months.

Caterpillar 8D Batteries

Its time to get new batteries for our C.C. Magna, in looking around I came across some 8D batteries from Cat. Part # 1535720. Has anyone tried these? When I looked them up on there web site I could not tell if they were AGM's or regular flooded. :h
